Rope Bondage Partial Suspension- Concepts and Rigging -
A Consensual Rope Bondage Workshop
Partial suspension bondage – tying off part of a body's weight to an overhead point – greatly increases the need for solid ropework and safe rigging methods. This workshop covers the fundamental skills and techniques necessary to allow you to confidently start exploring these dynamic bondage ties. We'll cover the special considerations of partial suspension, secure ties that put less strain on the body under the weight of suspension, and rigging hoist ropes for controlled tension and release.
The concepts and techniques covered in this workshop are a must for any rigger who wants to develop the skills necessary for eventually learning to tie full suspension bondage. This is an intermediate-level class that requires prior knowledge of basic bondage safety and some experience with fundamental rope bondage techniques.
There will be opportunities for willing rope bottoms to be tied in rope during the hands-on sections of the workshop. While this workshop will be concentrating on tying methods, single bottoms are encouraged to attend; we’ll touch on facets of bondage from the bottom’s perspective, and workshops like this usually offer opportunities to meet Tops interested in potential practice partners to help hone their new skills.
This workshop is for consenting, open-minded people, ages 18 and over, of any sexual orientation. If you want to learn more about partial suspension bondage, email to reserve your space.
