Inazuma Nawa is an elegant way to tie rope bondage that's fast, secure, and lovely to look at. The style has attractive rope cuffs that are quick and easy to tie; traditional-looking chest harnesses that go on gracefully; corsets and gauntlets that take less than half the time to tie as conventional methods; and much more – and all the ties come off in a flash when the rigger chooses to undo them.
In the Fall of 2008, Bradley and Noble, two riggers in the Portland area, began developing this innovative method for tying rope bondage. We believe that anyone interested in rope bondage, from beginners to advanced practitioners, will want to add at least some elements of this novel style to their repertoire; and some riggers may dramatically change their entire approach to rope bondage once they see how fast, functional, and elegant Inazuma Nawa can be.
Learning Inazuma Nawa doesn't require any overly complicated new knots - the style usually just uses a few clever wraps, twists, and flips of the rope along with a small piece of bamboo. Accomplished rope Tops will delight in the speed of Inazuma Nawa and the new possibilities these methods open up for them. But, this new system is also well suited to those just starting to explore consensual bondage – it has easy-to-learn single-column and two-column ties, and simple, yet useful knots for creating body harnesses, restraining arms and legs, and more. With the detailed handouts and the basic techniques covered in this workshop, you'll have all the building blocks you'll need to create almost any bondage tie in the Inazuma Nawa style. This will be a hands-on workshop with lots of practice of the basic ties that demonstrate all the essential elements of Inazuma Nawa.
Those that enjoy being on the receiving end of rope bondage will learn about the dynamics of this new style and how it can be used to alter the pacing of bondage scenes with more time in full restraint and less time laboriously being untied when it's time to be set free. Rope bottoms that attend will have plenty of opportunities to be in rope during the hands-on sections of the workshop.
