Intermediate Rope Bondage
-Beyond the Basics-
"Hogs, Frogs, and Shrimp; Oh, My!"
So, you’ve taken an introductory class in rope bondage. Or, maybe you’ve looked at a book or two and picked up the basics. You gotten through the mandatory material about bondage safety and communication between partners. You can tie a square knot. You’ve learned a few simple, yet secure tie-off knots. You know how to do both a single- and two-column tie; and you know how to tie a simple chest harness. You’re ready to take it to the next level.
This workshop will help you make the step from the fundamentals to really exciting bondage. We’ll build on the skills and knowledge you’ve already acquired, add a few more essential tying techniques and concepts, and show you how to safely create some really beautiful and dynamic rope bondage: hogties, frog ties, forced bows (shrimp ties) and more. You’ll learn a decorative yet functional body harness, and techniques allowing you to use a pole or bar to create more stringent and exposed bondage positions. And the great part is, because you already know the basic background and safety information that has to be covered in a beginner’s class, this workshop will be able to focus on hands-on learning and practice of the new techniques we’ll be teaching.
This workshop is for consenting, open-minded people, ages 18 and over, of any sexual orientation. Single bottoms are encouraged to attend: we’ll touch on many facets of bondage from the bottom’s perspective, and workshops like this usually offer opportunities to meet some rope Tops that are interested in finding potential practice partners to help hone their new skills.
