BAMBOO and BONDAGE

Bamboo and rope make an elegant combination. Bamboo is light-weight,
strong, and attractive; and the bases of the swollen nodes spaced along the
rigid shafts make handy points for securely tying rope. Adding just a single
bamboo pole to an otherwise simple bondage position can dramatically increase the
rigor and beauty of a tie; and bamboo poles can easily be tied together to form
frameworks for creating bondage positions with a markedly heightened sense of
restraint and exposure.
This is hands-on workshop on the fundamentals of using
bamboo poles in your bondage scenes. You’ll learn about working with bamboo, efficient
and attractive lashings for securing bamboo poles together at
any angle, and ways to safely and securely tie limbs to poles and frameworks. Attendees receive a 27-page handout with step-by-step photo-tutorials of the ties we'll be teaching. We’ll
have demonstration poles and lashing material available to practice with.
There will be opportunities for willing rope bottoms to be tied in rope
during the hands-on sections of the workshop. Single bottoms are encouraged to
attend; we’ll touch on facets of bondage from the bottom’s perspective, and
workshops like this usually offer opportunities to meet Tops interested in
potential practice partners to help hone their new skills.
