Fundamental Rope Restraint Techniques
Rope bondage and impact play are a great combination. Just tying on a little well-placed rope can mentally set the stage for both Top and bottom as they prepare to enter into a scene. And, by increasing the sense of vulnerability of the bottom by restraining the body in positions that allow perfect access for well-placed strikes of an open hand or an implement administered from a distance, bondage can greatly enhance the intensity of a scene that includes impact play. Whether your focus is on rope and you’ve been toying with the idea of adding a little taste of impact to your bondage scenes, or you’re a hardcore impact enthusiast looking to have a few new techniques at your disposal when you orchestrate an intense flogging, spanking, or whipping, this workshop will have something for you.
Some kinksters that love impact play view using rope to restrain a bottom as an impediment to getting down to what they’re really most interested in during a scene. But, with the right techniques, a little rope can actually be both easier and better than bondage methods that require special equipment. And attractive rope bondage can be applied that actually protects sensitive areas from errant strikes during impact play.
This Beginner’s/Intermediate workshop will show you everything you need to know to start using rope in your impact scenes. You’ll learn a novel rope cuff that is safer, more functional, adaptable to any size wrist or ankle (boots on or off), and just as quick to put on and remove as a leather cuff. We’ll demonstrate different bondage ties that can be created with just a few fundamental rope techniques that are perfect for spanking, paddling, sensual caning, flogging, and scenes with quirts and singletails. And, we’ll cover how different body positions created with simple rope bondage can greatly affect the way the body receives and processes impact and pain.
For far less than the price of a set of fancy leather cuffs you can attend this workshop and expand your repertoire of bondage techniques that will improve your impact play. Once you see how rope can be used in your impact scenes, you’ll always have a few choice lengths in your toy bag along with your impact implements.
Note: This workshop will include brief demonstrations of impact play showing tips about impact play methods, warmup, and safety; however, there won't be extensive hands-on instruction on impact play technique – the focus of this workshop will be on how to use simple rope bondage to create positions for impact play. There will be opportunities for willing bottom's to be tied in rope during the hands-on sections of the workshop when the cuffs and rope techniques are practiced. Single bottoms are encouraged to attend: we'll touch on many facets of impact bondage from the bottom's perspective, and workshops like this usually offer opportunities to meet Tops that are interested in potential practice partners to help hone their new skills.
This workshop is for consenting, open-minded people, ages 18 and over, of any sexual orientation that want to learn more about consensual rope bondage that facilitates impact play.
